At 4:30 the drawings began in the Old Bank Building, 201 N. Main St. as the weather was threatening to worsen. In fact, there was a blizzard on the way! We had a packed house... people filled the front of both the old bank and the old Ben Franklin stores to hear the winners announced. Only a handful of people left WITHOUT winning something!
People were able to sign up all day long in the stores on Main Street and kids signed up at Santa's House in the Public Library. Santa had a new helper this year...
Buddy the Elf!
Buddy made himself useful delivering presents and helping anyone who asked. He has promised to be back next year!

JEN VILLA of KFMC drew the name of ANGELA ANDERSON of BUFFALO CENTER for the newest QUALIFIER in the Freeride Contest to win the 2008 HARLEY-DAVIDSON DYNA SUPERGLIDE CUSTOM MOTORCYCLE!!!
The Harley was parked in front of our store here in Buffalo Center on Friday, July 4th, 2008 from 2:30p.m. until 4:30p.m.
KFMC 106.5 Real Classic Rock (Fairmont) was here at my store for a LIVE BROADCAST at the end of which Angela Anderson's name was drawn as one of the 106 qualifiers for the final Grand Prize Drawing.
