store hours
My "regular" store hours are ...
TUESDAY through SATURDAY
10:30-12:30 & 1:30-5:30
It all depends on how busy I am. If people keep coming in, I just stay open until everyone is gone.
And if you are planning a trip to Buffalo Center, it's a good idea to call and let me know that you are coming so that I don't run an errand just when you are expecting me to be here.
(I have a mixed marriage:
My husband is a clock-watcher and I... am not!)
When my dad would come home for supper, my mom sometimes would tell him that he was "late". He would always reply to her that he was never "late" and that whenEVER he got home, he was exactly ON TIME because he was not on a timeclock!
So, having said that, I would like to add that if you simply give me a call on my cellphone, (319-541-4775) I'm happy to make sure that I am here for you. Both my cell phone and my home phone numbers are on my store front door for your convenience.
I can even open later in the evening just for you or even on a Sunday afternoon or evening.
If you noticed, I don't usually offer to come in earlier because I have another job that I do at home before I can come up to the store.
My husband is an independent over-the-road truck driver. I find him his loads over the internet, usually first thing in the morning which makes it extra difficult for me to be up at my store at an early hour.
Make no mistake... I'm not sleeping late! I get on the computer looking for loads for him usually by 7:00 a.m. and sometimes sooner. This involves making and answering a lot of phone calls and sending and receiving a lot of faxes.
I'm just mentioning it because it really is a very good reason why I do not open my store any earlier than 10:30 a.m.
I try to be very flexible with my customers, and hope that they don't mind being just a little bit flexible with me!
One final note:
If you want to have an awesome productive shopping experience, it is a good idea to bring any measurements that would help in the selection of your new piece of furniture.
It is also a good idea to bring along a sample of the item that you are trying to match, like a drawer, a table leaf, a cushion, a sample of your carpet, a sofa arm cover, or a paint chip.
This helps enormously in our quest to help you find exactly what you are looking for!
